Dr. John Murphy and his wife, Amie, reside in Daphne, Alabama, with their triplets—Maddox, Mia, and Madi—and their youngest child, Micah. A proud member of the greater Mobile community for nearly a decade, Dr. Murphy has been practicing dentistry since 2013.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson in 2012, following a magna cum laude undergraduate degree from Mississippi College in Clinton in 2007. He further advanced his clinical expertise by completing a one-year General Practice Residency at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in Baton Rouge, where he focused on moderate sedation and complex dental cases.
Raised in rural Mississippi, Dr. Murphy brings genuine Southern hospitality and kindness to his practice. When he's not caring for patients, he enjoys cooking and spending quality time at the beach with his family.
Dr. Murphy’s excellence has been recognized with multiple honors. He was voted Best Dentist – Baldwin in both the 2022 and 2023 Nappie Awards, and in 2024, he received the Nappie for Best Cosmetic Dentist.
