Dr. John Murphy and his wife, Amie Murphy, live in Loxley with their triplets, Maddox, Mia, and Madi. They recently welcomed a new baby boy, Micah, to their family. Dr. Murphy has called the greater Mobile area home for 6 years. He has been in practice since 2013. He completed a one-year General Practice Residency with special emphasis on moderate sedation and complex cases at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is a 2012 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson, Mississippi and a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi. Having grown up in rural Mississippi, Dr. Murphy is the embodiment of hospitality and kindness. When he is not doing dentistry, Dr. Murphy enjoys cooking and spending time at the beach with family. Dr. Murphy is the recipient of the 2022 Nappie for Best Dentist – Baldwin. Dr. Murphy is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
